Malacca-Muar Makan Trip

Aawwww...the food were all delicious..i guessed that's why they call malaysia 'food heaven'...what do you want to eat?name it.... we started off the journey stopping by Malacca to pick up one friend, Jwa. Yeah, Jwa can be considered as a local, studying there for 4-5 yrs now, she knows Malacca inside out, especially of the food..haha...we went to Jonker Street. Baba Nyonya Assam Laksa, Baba n Nyonya Curry Mee with B n N cendol as well... the cendol were quite good, but the fact that the sugar was manis2 pahit didnt really get into me sangat...

i prefer the usual mamak cendol if u ask me, definitely!(where we had in muar)

then to pantai klebang for some coconut milk shake!oh, i tell u, it tasted marvelous!with some tempeyekkk costed us 30 cent a piece!yeah, quite mahal but mmg sedap!

nite?again at jonker..finding some nenas tart for sal's mom...we bought 100 pieces...n we tried like four dif types of tarts...with pandan, without pandan. the original tart n etc...the smell of the bakery was crazy!aah!then we walked through the street when we were stopped with the amazing smell of FRIED OYSTER.yeah, hve never tried oyster before but sth in the dish made me stop...while we were discussing about the 'kehalalan' of the food, the chinese uncle said 'ini boleh makan adik, halal punyaaa...' heee, thanks uncle!u def can read people's mind lah...hee..then, we order for rm 10!n we got a FULL pack of fried oyster, cooked with eggs (smells like char koey teow too)..we got it tapau n brought it to Restoran Pak Putra where we had CHEESE NAAN TANDOORI...uhh...eat those selang2 with fried oyster it was cloud nine-d i tell ya~ and that's all for malacca

arrived in Muar...served with durians from the dusun of pak kasim...we ate those at 12 am..hahaha...next day started with Nasi Beriyani Johor at a wedding..in Johor, they even have tempe masak sambal kering served as one of the dishes..at the wedding, i got to eat nasik impit kuah kacang (my fevret!)..then at nite we went to Sabak Awor- a famous place u can go for seafood bakar laah....like UMBAI in malacca..n here we ate ikan pari bakar (with amazing kuah sambal spilled on it)+ sotong goreng tepung+kangkung goreng belacan +butter prawn..and it was only for rm 48..mrah kan?i

know...it was superb....the next day breakfast were with SATAY AYAM, DAGING N PERUT.

it was my first time eating satay perut..have never seen that before...and it tasted OMG. the STAR PARK restaurant located at the heart of bandar muar really know how to bakar satay!the satay was deliciously bakar..ooohh..heavenn..then we also ordered mee rebus n soto..pon sedap jugakkk...

during lunch, Aunty Ros (Ija's mom) cooked us some asam pedas ikan sembilang n i literally hirup the kuang using senduk (i know that is sooo impoliteee but, whatever!!hahaha)im a very assam pedas person n vowed to myself that i want to be soooo good at cooking this meal!hehehe!n then we also had rojak petis at tanjung...

n the last day, during our way back, we stopped by at the side of the road to the highway n bought some PAU MUAR...they were sooo softtt and the inti were also greattt....now tell me, APE YG X SEDAP KAT MUAR? :))

Words~

Words. Things that come out from others..Spoken or written...Planned or unplanned..Short or long..Good or bad...

They can make you carve a smile from a compliment.Or even paint happiness from a news.Make you laugh from a joke. Make you be the person that u've never thought u could be from the motivation. And Flattering you all day for the appreciation.

Words however can kill you. Kill your motivation to live. Create sadness for one whole day.Make you frown for many days.Or make you feel down for even months! And yes, that is the power of words!

So, before you say sth to others, plz for a second think about the effect of the words to the person. Do not be selfish as you will regret it one day.. Lots of friendship are destroyed not because of trust or time or distance but WORDS. As the Malay saying goes, "Terlajak perahu boleh diundur, terlajak kata buruk padahnya." And there you go, powerful words!

New Chapter?

And yes...there he went.. for the first time as the 4th engineer..and hell yeah, im proud of you!despite of the sadness in me, above all proud is the most that I felt! alhamdulillah..we've made it so far...go dear!run!achieve your dreams as im running towards mine!we build the dreams together and i want both of change the dreams to a reality..my prayers will always be with you and God knows that..

despite all the demotivating and negative comments from the bypassers i want u to know that i don't care! they do not know a sh't about u and me!so shut up people!wake up and MYOB! i promise you dear im going to step forward for my career as ure doing for yours. will always keep my promise to u as ive always hoped that u'll never break those that belong to me...may the journey makes us a better person....

Jakarta-Bandung: It was a great 'whole-liday'!

When mak told us bout the plan, I..err WE jumped with joy! "Yep, we are going to Bandung," said Mak.
And the prep went on and on...
Passport? Checked!
Baju? Tudung? Seluar? Checked,checked,checked!
Jakarta, here I come!
huHU...we boarded Garuda Airways, the service was great~ Great food (erm, even the nasik goreng was nice), charming air hostess~ then we touched down Jakarta (Soekarno_Hatta Airport) at 9.10 am (M'sia time), 8,10 (I'sia time).-We saved one hour!
There we met Pak Ed,the cute n very helpful tourist guard!hehe...we were taken straight to Bandung...The first thing I noticed about Jakarta was the calm weather...it was nice...very relaxing...quite different from the one that we've always had in beloved Msia..what I meant was it was sunny but accompanied with breezy air~ later i realized that that might be bcoz they still preserve their trees...lots and lots of trees along the way to Bandung.. the 2 n half hours seemed so short bcoz of my enthusiastic mood i guess..snap,snap,snap pictures here n there!hehe...

Then we reached Bandung. We were told there were millions of ppl live in Bandung (not sure the accurate number, sorry). Can u imagine?phew~ But the width of the roads were smaller than that we saw in Jakarta. i wud say Bandung is like Malacca for Malaysia, well sort of..cuz it's one of the most famous place to visit in Indonesia. I could see the signboards read "Bandung bandar fesyen". Owh!My heart beated!!!heehee!shopping spree~ hehe.at left and right of the road, there were many sellers/hawkers with their tricyle (is that the name?well..u know what I mean, gerai but on bicyle look alike)..selling Mee Bakso/Baso, Mie Ayam, Lele and etc...nyum2..i really wanted to try those but the hygienic factors thingy..so i didn't although they looked real guuud~

First stop: Pasar Baru (like Pekan Rabu, Kedah- but more happening!)
Owh god!!!Rambang mata!Juling mata!seeing the clothes. name it, cotton blouse?telekung?tudung?baju kawen?baju tunang?baju nikah?pisang salai?hehe...I wud really suggest those who are planning to get married to buy your persalinan, HERE, Sriously..owh, the fabric~ the shiny lil 'maniks' on the cloth..it's beautiful!man, they are creative!!!!

Second Stop:Tangkuban Parahu
The beautiful scenery. The volcano that last active in 1970s. The sulphuric smell was caused by the volcano. Breezy!Nice to have your photo shoot here...hehe..Then, they have street selling handicrafts/ souvenirs... You can buy shirts, ponchos, i even bought bracelet with gud price!

Third Stop: Factory Outlets
Oh yes!For those who fancy modern clothes. This place is like the answer to your prayer.:P believe me!! great prices with gud quality of material!fashionable design...they offer greater choices...Rumah Mode( the must visit)..Natural was cool tu..owhhh, the trench coatsss!!chanttekk!hurm...for office attire, this place is great..i wished i had more money so that I cud get that one in my receipt!

Fourth Stop: Toko 3
Jeans lovers!!!come here!get your levis at cheaper price (well-compared to here laa)
I grabbed a jacket!short sleeve, grey jacket!I likeee!

Restaurants:
Sapulidi: A restaurant in sawah padi. Creative!
D'cost Seafood: The food here quite nice!Great ambience!
Riong Sari: It was okay....
etc

Overall, it was a nice trip!I hope Ill be there again.. I luv the places, the peeps were good, friedly..u were treated like a master..the places were scenic (even kat tepi jalan pon, bley shoot vid clip agaknye!) and i hope this time I can come with a dslr..haishh...but overall, u'll realize that "hujan emas di negeri org, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, baik lagi negeri sendiri.." if you go there, You'll know what I mean ~ wink! Thanks mak abah for the trip, not forgetting atin, my sis who gave me such a good time~muah~
